Wharf99 - " Analogue Demo 001 / Shapesynth vs Nodebeat #1 " (Year Zero records Year 010) 2011

Two exclusive tracks from Wharf99 for Year Zero Records first single. And its a goodie, lush warm analogue noodling, timeless electronica for leaking flotation tanks. On the correct side of ambient, to avoid the hideous comparison with New Age. Hope to have a complete album on here soon.Meanwhile here's a superb taster.

Bio:
"Based in Melbourne, wharf99 has been assembling self-produced home recordings for the past few years, taking advantage of the benefits of DAW software and the deluge of mobile phone apps that make it so much more convenient to be a DIY musician. The latest release, “36 Years” was triggered by playing around with the Kinetic iPhone app that by chance happened to capture a snippet of a radio documentary on Vietnam. This was then processed to become part of the source material for a heavy-duty sound-clash workout, complete with subterranean subsonic dub version on the b-side. Meanwhile, wharf99 has recently been messing around with analog-style apps like Filtatron and ShapeSynth, the early results reflected in Analog Demo #1"
